After ten days of fierce chess clashes the curtains have been lowered at the 25th European Youth Chess Championships in Porec. Competitors from 41 European countries, 838 of them in groups of up to 8, 10, 12, 14, 16 and 18 years of age, in the men’s and women’s competitions respectively, were deciding on who will win the medals.
